Habardeen
HI everyone.I have this odd problem with AA refusing to work. Basically when I set it up in the launcher options panel and save the config before launching the game, well... it won't save, while all the rest of the parameters are fully configurable.I even tried to force the use of AA with nHancer and by editing the iMultisample variable in the Fallout.ini but there is no way I can get AA to work. Some info on my game config: I have the latest patch installed. All options (except the AA of course) are set to Ultra (The Anisotropic Filtering is lowered to 12x).Falloutprefs.ini and Fallout.ini are slightly modified according to the guide from tweakguides.com and I haven't tried any odd variable by myself (only raised the lod viewdistance and decresed the sun base and glare). The addons I use are loaded as following (using Archive Invalidation Invalidated from fomod and 2 retexture packages from nexus): Fallout3.esmCrossRepairWeapons.espXFO_Playstyles.espXFO_Weapskill_dmg_and_accuracy_mild.espXFO_rarity_drugs_med.espXFO_rarity_ammo_mild.espXFO_Stat_changes.espXFO_barter_fix_mild.espXFO_Timescale_fast.espXFO_Cripple_fixes.espXFO_Degradation_fixes.espXFO_Sneak_Rebalance_mild.espXFO_food_water_changes.espXFO_VATSdmg_50.espXFO_Weapon_Jamming.espXFO_misc_tweaks.espCentered 3P Cam.espTheOutbreak - WMS Vanilla Combo Pack - C24H.esp My PC spec:Athlon Opteron 180Asus A8N32 Deluxe2 Gb of fast DDRGeforce 8800 GTSWin XP 32bit with SP3 and latest DX9 releaseAll the drivers are up to date (using Forceware 190.38). One final note: there are no graphical oddities or glithces and I play the game perfectly smoothly with absolutely no crashes. Also this is the first time I have such a problem by playing a game on my PC.It happened with Oblivion aswell, but by reading around the web, I for sure know that Nvidia owners CAN use HDR+AA with fallout 3 and theres no problem at all like there was with Oblivion PLUS if I disable the HDR the problem is still the same. Any help is appreciated.Thank you very much in advance :)
Habardeen
up and adding some info. the fallout3.ini and falloutprefs.ini are fully editable and not read-only.from the nvidia control panel the settings used by all games and the fallout3 profile are set on "application controlled". Forcing it through the panel is useless aswell.
