Oblivion Sound Sets overwriting my old sound?

so i just downloaded the soundset mods by brucevayne and they seem very nice. however when i install it (goes perfectly fine, nothing overwrites) and run oblivion, i discovered my old attacking sounds are gone and the soundset packs are not working either. could it be because i have the cuteelf mod that has the extra soundset that is causing this? i am confused.

i try to put all my mods in omod form because it is much easier to manage. heres the list of mods i use...

one more thing, i do have obse and i am running oblivion through the loader
