DongFeud
I've got Morrowind GOTY edition (product version 1.6.1820) from Steam. Everything was fine when I first started playing back in November, but when I decided to get back into it recently after taking a break over Xmas and New Years I started running into this issue The game is constantly crashing to desktop with a generic error whenever I try to load a save or start a new game while using MWSE0.9.4a. I did some troubleshooting where I disabled all mods, removed all texture/mesh replacers, and rolled back all .exe patches but even then I couldn't load or start any new games with MWSE running. I can start a new game if I don't launch with MWSE, and if I disable MWSE dependent addons I can even load my savegames, but obviously I can't play it since I need those mods. Apart from MWSE I use Morrowind Code Patch v2.1 and the 4GB patch from http://www.ntcore.com/4gb_patch.php. I use Wrye Mash to build my mod setups and I've made sure the load order is correct (all my savegames are purple). I don't use any graphics mods apart from these texture/mesh replacers: http://i.imgur.com/Sf7JX3J.png Here's my load order: http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=1wy5sRcU Additional info: - I'm on Windows 7 x64 - MWSE.DLL and MWSE Launcher.exe is in the same folder as Morrowind.exe - There's nothing in the log besides "MWSE 0.9.4.0 loaded DLL:Starting Script Extender" - The game folder is not in Program Files - Steam overlay is disabled - Morrowind.exe and Morrowind Launcher.exe is set to run as administrator - This also happens with the built-in MWSE in MGE XE 0.9.
DongFeud
Fixed it I guess. Uninstalled MWSE 0.9.4a and used MGE 3.8.2-rev.0178.7z from here instead, and just disabled the graphical functions while letting it use its integrated script extender. It seems to be working.
