Basically something that when you use a regular weapon over and over, it gains abilities based on how you use it, what type of enemies are killed with it, so on and so forth. So like, if you use a specific sword to kill undead, it'll eventually becoming more efficient at killing undead, gaining a permanant enchantment. If you regularly poison the sword, it'll eventually get a permantant poison effect. If you used it to kill mages, it'll start doing magicka damage. Slay a couple fire breathing dragons with it, it'll start doing fire damage; that sort of thing. Use it to kill a boss, and it'll gain something related to having killed that boss. And the number of enchantments can increase, decrease, grow stronger, weaker, and either have an option to name the weapon. It would add depth and a reason to use a regular weapon. I mean it is doable to create something like ebony blade, but i doubt that you can easily apply it to all weapons without decreasing game performance drastically. You have to monitor all weapons that player used, count its killed creatures and so on.
