Need animation help!

I extracted a basic object and, using blender, gave it simple animations (which didn't work right until I messed with them in nifskope), and it gets errors in the GECK. For example, the animations play fine in nifskope, but don't work in the GECK. Here's the nif: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=ae7b5dc...04e75f6e8ebb871

 

I think one of the errors said something about a controller target being the 3d root, the others were the same and said something about a target not matching other data (which I think was a problem with something I was trying, so it shouldn't show up anymore). I don't know much about animations in nifskope/blender anymore, so if anyone knows of any good guides, please post them.

As far as I know, Fallout 3 is "hard coded"

 

 

Somethings you might could change animations, others maybe not.

 

 

 

Like guns, you can remove the animation, but it's still going to be there

You can change it, but it's still going to be the same.

 

 

I think most of use cut an paste stuff into vanilla meshes to change animations.

 

Like if I wanted to have a lever action sniper rifle, use nifscope to cut the parts

 

from the sniper rifle mesh, an paste them in the lincolns rifle mesh

 

You have to watch the names of stuff though, cut an paste messes up the names

 

in the block list.

 

 

But then I don't really mess with animations.

 

 

I asked a while back about changing the pistols slide animation

 

I got that hard coded answer.
