SmollPurrtato
I'm trying to figure out if you can run Terra_Ex's CharGenMorph Compiler (Found here: http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/971/?) through Nexus Mod Manager, and whether or not I need to change the folders it searches. I left a question on the mod page, but it's been a few months and I haven't gotten an answer. Anyone here able to help?
Thandal
The Compiler is a stand-alone executable. It is separate from, and knows nothing about NMM. And as far as I have been able to tell, NMM knows nothing about it. I just downloaded and installed one of of LOTC's CC mods using NMM. The resource folders appeared correctly in the "\override" folder, but the cgmc.xml wasn't updated. Curiously, there is a folder called "\NMM_chargenmorph" also in the "\override" folder, with the date/time stamp of my download, but... a) It does not contain the entries from LOTC's mod, and; b) There is a separate chargenmorphcfg.xml file directly under "\override", which has a date/time stamp of the last time I installed a CC mod manually and used the Complier to integrate the changes. Conclusion: NMM can't handle CC mods any better than it can handle ".override" ones. I.E., it knows where they go, but not how to get them working!
SmollPurrtato
So, I need to download CarGenMorph and CC mods outside of NMM?
Thandal
The first part (download and extract the Compiler "manually") is absolutely correct. The second part, I'm still trying to figure out. I think that NMM does something with the .xml files associated with CC mods, but I haven't been able to determine what. I'd have to find a CC mod that does something completely different (so I don't confuse it with one I already have) then run some experiments. Not sure when I'll have time...
