joey2176
It would be awesome to have a high-powered bow and arrow for FO3, equiv to a sniper rifle. I loved it in Oblivion, surprised there isn't one already. If there is and I haven't found it yet, just disregard this clueless newbie. :)
kyosuke420
unlikely to happen it requires new animations which from my understanding is a pain in the ass but it seems some people are getting better with new animations so it may now be possible just unlikely
ThomasAAnderson
maybe the animations can be ported from oblivion and the mesh restyled to fit a "future" bow (since fo3 is set in the future)
Callighan
Maybe you could find a solution to the copyright issue. Or dig up some custom bow animations which could be used.
ThomasAAnderson
oh thought fo3 and oblivion's authors matched, or at least they had a deal.. but then...
kyosuke420
bethesda did make both oblivion and fallout 3 however my understanding is they tend to get a bit pissy when people make crossover mods unless the person does everything there self it seems
junin
The new animations are a piece of cake. The problem is that adding new weapon types and their animations to the game cannot be done in GECK. In order to make bows, one would have to replace an entire set of weapons in the game with the new ones (bows). That’s not cool.
