well before 1.7 i could play the game fine i never crashed but after 1.7 it seems i can't even play 5mins before i get "fallout 3 has stopped responding" anyone know what to do? the only mods i have installed are tailor maid.esp (as well as the dlc versions of it), 3EFdrgplate.esp (reinforced CSS), minihideout.esp and ROTS.esp

like i said i never had problems before and when i google for an answer they say to fix certain files and i don't have any of the files they say are causing the problem =/

ANSWERING POSTS RANDOMLY

just kidding

Load order?

1.7 an 1.6 don't do that much

it's probably something else

maybe even a corupted savegame

which happeneds alot

Don't autosave ever or quicksave either

disable them press esc an create a new save each time

keep about 20 saves

You could try using FO3edit to apply it's master update

best thing that ever happened to fallout 3 if you ask me

Update drivers, defrag the drive, check into the tweek guide

http://www.tweakguides.com/Fallout3_1.html

I ran patch 1.5 with no mods then ran patch 1.7 with no mods an there wasn't any big bug problems with it

There is however the fact that the FOSE beta 8 is beta an for support of 1.7

1.7 is so new we shouldn't really use it yet

but it's pretty much 1.7

however the .exe is different

I'm not sure, but maybe you need to either roll back your save game or create a new one.

It could also be a single mod causing the error

You could just use the masterupdate to find out which one is causing it

You could open all your mods at the same time with GECK then read the auto prompts

then write them down an open those mods one by one, with them set to active an when it auto

prompts to auto fix select yes then save it.

What's that load order you got?
