5ivexxxxx
Well, they did say they have no plans for any Commonwealth related DLC. Now, a while ago, I would disagree strongly, being angered at Bethesda for not expanding on a part of Fallout 3 that honestly intrigued me. In the present, I realise that it's a much better idea not to expand on it. I'd rather have a place available for modders to fill in than something made by Bethesda that probably won't fulfill my interest.
GETbacon
I think any modder worth there salt could do a commonwealth mod. Just use snow from anchorage and models from zeta (if I had any experance with the GECK I would do it in a heartbeat) What I want is to go back to the past and try to stop the world from being blown up (ultimately fail because no nuke = no wanderer, sequel or new Vegas) Or edo japan or new york when the mafia were around. and in a time machine no "simulations" this time around
Feltorn Von Dentai
Japan would be awesome, but unlikely. Although, they had the Japanese Yukaza gang in FO2, so they could eloborate on that. I doubt that they would though :(.
Britanol
I'm expecting there to be some sort of Texas thing. I hope that they do a Texas thing. Someone has some sort of makeshift plane and they want to try and go to New York and check out reports from some man trying to find the cure for ghoulification. Well, he doesn't know WHERE New York is, and ends up flying in the wrong direction and crashing into Texas. You end up being one of 3 survivors in a twenty person flight. There's you, the Lone Wanderer, Steve, some Ghoul trying to get the cure so he can get back together with his wife, and his wife, a non-ghoul, named Stacy. (Yes, I have the entire DLC planned out) I'll save you a few minutes of text, and just say I REALLY want to go to Texas.
sithlordgoku
For my part, i like to see a FO2 remake.
rlccohen
Since I'm from the area a Commonwealth DLC would be pretty interesting. And it would have the contrast between the hi-technology of the Institute and the desolation outside of it. (I wonder what fans from central Pennsylvania thought of the Pitt add-on?) Britanol
Lol. Yesterday I was cleaning out my room, and I came across a strange little sheet of paper with a bunch more ideas I had for post-apocalyptic games, and, on top of my Texas idea, I had written out plans for Seattle, NY,NY, and say Atlantis resurfaced just off the coast of Europe. TheUndert0ker
I don't know how they could top FO3, it's just so badass. In many ways the best game I've ever played. I'm more interested in seeing what all the modders crank out. :thanks: If I could see anything from them I'd like to see crazier sci fi stuff, like psychic powers and cyborgs, mechs etc.
GabeDeath1985
Well i read Somwhere about FO in china and Japan and stuff like that and the commonwealth, well thats all good, but that to me is just weird, its all yank this and that, im sorry, but me as a Euro, the commonwealth just to me, seems..... Lacking..... Well im working on my own expansion and No, before you go shooting your mouth at me for having less posts than everyone else, i have done modding before, FO is just new to me...... It will be interesting in what i design and i got a great program that can translate the game mechanics for me to PS3 and Xbox formats, so it will be interesting..... OriginalSoulsmith
Thing is, after just splattering an alien captain over the glass windows of his own ship and blowing up another alien mothership, what else can top it? I mean, you already technically own a mothership. Thinking practically, you could simply death ray any cities (or countrys) that got in your way. On a more positive note, I would love to see how the nuclear holocaust affected other continents, as only really America and China are part of the lore at the moment.
