Joeyjoey92
I can max the game at Ultra settings, 60 fps no problem. But the moment I try enbs, even this one ENB Phinix enb? Installed and boom. fps DROPPPPPPPPED. Ive seen Gopher RECORD with that enb and his specs may be a bit better than mine, but come on, really? Am I just missing something? My specs are Intel I-5 4670k 4.0 Ghz, 8 gig ram, GTX 760 OC. So, can someone explain? Or am I really not good enough to play ANY enbs on 60? It cant be that taxing can it? Someone help :(
FiftyTifty
You're probably doing it wrong. Like, turn off MSAA for starters. And AF. Let the ENB take care of those two features. Don't expect to be getting 60 fps either. Your graphics card will probably be throttling itself at 40-45, due to ENB raping your GPU's VRAM. Joeyjoey92
Wait, so 2gb Vram isnt good enough? And do you run an enb yourself? I dont really NEED to have one, but you'd think my system could run them fine if I can max BF4.. Any enbs you reccomend?
FiftyTifty
I use my own ENB. I make use of RadeonPro to framelimit Skyrim to 30 (My GPU throttles itself at 36 due to ENB being intensive as f*#@) and add the ifpsclamp=30 setting to Skyrim.ini 2GB is sufficient as far as capacity is concerned. But memory clocks? ENB gobbles them up. If you overclock your GPU's memory, you'll probably kill it when running an ENB. You might very well be able to max BF4, but that's a completely different game. On a completely different engine. By a completely different company.
