mongoose665
Where can i find the xlive.dll for it? I know many others have had this problem. When i got one off the internet ( which i think was a halo 2 one ) it says it is not a valid windows image. I tried the windows live games disabler but when it gets to 99 % it says I can't run it because I have not started the game before. Also tried another that disables G4WL. But to no avail. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
mechine
What the heck is a Xlive.dll FOSE disable's live among the other super cool stuff it doeshave to use a version that supports your patch though You can also set it up so that you don't auto sign into Games for windows livewhich is kind of like turning it off, if you don't sign in. There are mods that disable Games for windows liveFose is so great why bother though
overload1977
For XP: You can make this change in any Windows Explorer window by going to Tools Menu, Folder Options, View Tab and about 4 options down, under Hidden Files, choose Show Hidden Files. Note, this change will allow you to see System Files and other things that are best not messed with, so you may want to undo this change after moving the file. For Vista: 1) Open Windows Explorer (not the browser, the one showing your hard drive etc)2) Top left corner, you'll see an "Organize" button. Clicky3) Go to the Folders and Search Options choice, which will bring up a new window4) Select the View tab5) About eighth item on the list is Show Hidden Files and Folders. Select Show Hidden Files6) Apply, OK7) Do whatever needs to be done Repeat, but select Hide Hidden Folders thumbsup.gif XP: C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Xlive\DLC Vista: C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\XLive\DLC
