After a lot of fun with different quests (Fighters, assassins, legion, mage) I went back to Caius to get the second step in the main quest: talk to Sharn-xxx at the mages guild in Balmora and get news of the Nerevarine. Surprise, Sharn won't mention the Nerevarine, and thus I can't progress in the main quest. Any ideas? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sometimes you have to ask Caius about more than one thing to get it. If you have the quest, double check that you didn't get her dialogue early by some quirk of fate. If neither is a problem are you running any mods that may have affected her script? I assume you don't have a disease of some kind as that changes what she says but you could hardly miss it! Malchik Posted October 26, 2005 Share Posted October 26, 2005 Open the console and type in the relevant entry. (Console is accessed by pressing the key above the tab key). Try first Open her dialogue boxOpen the console Type: addtopic"errand" Close both boxes and reopen the dialogue box If she now has the topic 'errand' you can proceed. If that doesn't work open the console and type: Journal,"A1_4_Muzgobinformant",10 This should give you the quest as if you had spoken to her but check you have the quest Muzgob Informant shown as open in the journal under quests before you do this. If it is missing then the problem is with Caius not Sharn gra-Muzgob. You can add it by typing the previous instruction only with 1 rather than 10 at the end. But if the problem is with him it might well get worse as the game proceeds. It sounds like a mod conflict to me. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
