DaoofDunmer
Hi, I have searched the forums and found a number of threads about the Overhaul 3.0, but few of them had replies and none of them addressed this issue. Apologies if there is a thread for this, I was unable to find one. I have tinkered a great deal with the settings and found that my fps issues were resolved by selecting to use my high-end graphics card instead of the integrated one; however, when I use my high-end card I get little white specks and lines along some of the textures and it is quite immersion-breaking. It seems as though I am faced with flickering white dots and good fps, or no dots but painfully slow fps. Does anyone have any idea what might cause the white dots and lines at the edge of certain objects? For those of you with dual cards and poor fps, I suggest right-clicking the morrowind.exe and selecting to use your dedicated graphics card the difference was night and day for me fps-wise. Thanks for any replies/help. BTW it is a NVIDIA GeForce GT 745M.
Purr4me
If your not in a hurry? I can suggest a read up on this thread. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1413230-why-am-i-experiencing-ctds/&do=findComment&comment=12010045 It applies to "I have tinkered a great deal with the settings and found that my fps issues were resolved by selecting to use my high-end graphics card instead of the integrated one; however, when I use my high-end card I get little white specks and lines along some of the textures and it is quite immersion-breaking. DaoofDunmer
Kitty, thank you for the reply and the link it's much appreciated. I gave it a look over and was able to figure things out. I now have a playable, beautiful Morrowind. I looked for a 'commend'-type button on the forums here but didn't see one. Cheers!
