As of a week ago me and someone else has started work on a new mod call Akavir-The War. During the oblivion crisis the warlord of Kamal was taken into inprisonment and for hundreds years he was kept locked away but when the dragons came back to life he found his freedom and escaped with the uknowing help of the dragonborn (the player accidentaly sets him free) and it is up to you to stop him from reaching immortality and free a land from the evil of the frost. When you arrive at a city you release who you actually set free and have to defeat him. The story will be provided in full detail when the story line and side quests are written out and set for sure.

I think it's better if you make the warlord resurrected instead of imprisoned, and that he was killed before the Oblivion Crisis as the only reference to a Kamal warlord in Skyrim is Ada'Soom Dir-Kamal from the second era. Just something to think about in terms of lore-friendliness.

Do you have a rough plot for this, encompassing main locations and NPCs? Where will the player go to start the quest? I'm currently learning about modding and would be interested in helping out in any way I can.

Also is it going to be fully voiced? It's kinda annoying when you get silenced dialogue in game.

First off Yes the Kamal warlord was killed in the 2E but its the 3-4E and there has to be a new leader there just has to be. Second I have a lot of maps that show the regions and a Majority of locations. As for NPC's im currently making quick ideas for leaders, merchants etc. At this point We don't know if it will be fully voiced yet.

ps, Thanks to maps of Akavir I think I found a Telvanni (however you spell it) house on the coast of Akavir so I matched were it is with a map of tamriel and I think I found the Nerevarine :)

Yes that is true but remember that this is a mod, a lot of the lore and ideas are made up or mixed in with the lore that is already been mentioned. For example because there is no hint of lore about the desert in Akavir except in maps, so I created a new mob with its own unique culture separate from the others in Nirn that would fit the desert Perfectly you'll like it when you see it ; )
