What is the best video card i could get for under 30 bucks.I have a small budget and can't afford much.all i need is a card that will at least run fallout 3.I currently have an ATI Radion Xpress 200

Well under 30 bucks thats a tricky one, i don't think there is one that can play fallout 3 under 30 bucks, maybe you should save up a little bit more because i think all mainstream video cards usually are around 100$ or more.

I really just want the best gaming card i can get for under 80 bucks that is compatible for my machine(Emachines T5048 with XP security pack 3).

Any suggestions?

Nice find, i think that will play Fallout ok, i did a newegg search and couldn't find one for you under a 100$ that could play fallout. maybe if you saved a little more you could put it in crossfire ;D , of course thats pushing it right.

Nvidia 8500, you can get those pretty cheep these days and theyre pretty good

For really really cheap, you're probably gonna have to go for a Geforce 8800, or maybe even an 8500.

 

But if you can spend a bit (well, a lot) more, much though I hate to say it, AMD's HD 4890 is probably the best card to go for. Its one of the more powerful cards on the market (currently the most powerful AMD card I think), and for only £150 (often less), it is definitely the best value for money to be found atm.
