zirome
:wallbash: Custom weapon, trying to get the new sounds into the geck. I put the new sounds into a new folder in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data\Sounds\fx\wpn\RilfeReDo\fire Then i made a new form out of an existing sound, but when i click the "add sound file" buttonit will not let me browse to the new sound. It just clears the old sound, but then no window acutally pops up so i can browse to new sound. Am I forgetting a step? Please help me couldnt find an answer to this when searching the forums. zirome
found this on the tes wiki, maybe my folder heirarchy is just wrong, going to try again. Add Sound File: Click this button in order to select the file that this sound will point to (the file that will be played when this sound is called in the game). * Like most dialogs in the Construction Set, in order to use the "Add Sound File" button, a familiar directory hierarchy must exist relative to the Master file. To add new sounds, they must reside under the "Oblivion\Data\Sound\fx" directory. This directory must exist before the Open File dialog will appear. * Although you may select any file from the open dialog, only wave files are valid. * The selected WAV file must be saved in Mono format unless the 2D box is checked below. * You may select a directory instead of a single file. In this case a random file within that directory will be played; files in sub-directories will be ignored. http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php/Sound http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/Sound
