The Blue Grass State does of course have Colonel Sanders which is the origin of KFC, although I believe it is more famous for its horses (KFH?). Chicken Maryland is a specific recipe that used to appear in restaurants sometimes both in the UK and the US. It involves fried corn patties and potato croquettes as I recall.
