OBSE is just really a different exe for you to start Oblivion from... It's not at all technical to install. OBMM isn't really required for Deadly reflexes, it just helps install/uninstall mods.

OBSE is not Just a different exe to start the game with .Please if you don't know what a utility does no answer is better than a wrong one!!!

OBSE is Oblivion Script Extender. It allows many mods with animations and more complex scripting to perform. Todays high tech mods need this to add so many new facets to oblivion that the "vanilla " script is unable to do.

When using OBSE you must launch your game with it ,yes, that part is correct. Not using it will cause those mods that require OBSE not to function properly and will also cause CTD's. Hope that helps you out with the correct information on that specific utility!

Umm, I knew exactly what I was talking about. For a mod user it is as simple as that. He was worried that he was going to have to do some complicated installation and do a lot of crazy stuff to get it to work when really for a mod user OBSE is as simple as installing it to the right folder and using that exe from then on.

There will be more flipping out from nudity than from guts all over the floor lol. My family would rather see guts in passing by than boobs and i have a girlfriend who wouldnt appriciate my game having boobs all over the place. I'm fine with her not wanting my to have content like that as i wouldnt want her to have game content like that. It's just a personal thing.

Thanks for the tutorials. And yes i was worried i'd have to do a bunch of complex stuff. I was looking for like "plug and play" type moding.

I'm having an issue with making mods show up. The midas magic and clear water mods work just fine but i got some others. Arcane Archery and Nicoroshi's Creations. I downloaded them. They did not come in a zipped folder. I dragged them to the data folder. When i start up oblivion they dont appear in the "data files" section. Any ideas? Oh and user account controls is disabled. I has accidently turned it back on when my computer was saying there were security issues, but its turned back off now. Do i have to reinstall oblivion again or something?

Edit: Apparently it's a 7Z Compressed Archive File...the icon just doesnt look like a zipped file. The icon looks like a blank piece of paper.

Yes that was the problem. Thank you. Now i have another issue though. When i followed the directions and copied the "data" file with the mod into the directory, nothing happened so i put the "light" file into the directory. That worked...but the quest location for the mod is a dimond with a giant yellow exclamation point. Did i do something wrong? or do i need to download something?

what a shame that something as beautiful as the female or male body nude is deemed unacceptable, but brutality and killing is considered ok. I'll stick with the nudity myself and shall now say goodbye to this topic as I have added all the useful answers I possibly can, bye bye!

I was looking back at this. When i look at the "data files" to check off the plug-in's, the Nicoroshi mod says something about a master file...do i need to check off the master file thing? What does that do? I dont want to mess with something when i know nothing about it.
