well, before i get to the good stuff i wanted so say this. I was thinking about horror movies and how they're always in this time. What about in the future? what if a giant alien terrorized a small town in the future? what would happen? This may not be the giant alien thing i was hoping for, but this is a new idea. so here it is, a horror movie in a sci-fi town.

 

 

"the year is 4022. Flying cars are out dated now, we now have self driven float pods. Tv has been replaced by the Tube Helm. All our food is freeze dried. And we all wear white. Odd hair colors are the rage, and the government is corrupt. No alien life forms have been found. To our knowledge, space exploration has been adandoned, but Earth seems to ignore us. We are the inhabitants of Uranus, and we are in trouble. After we had removed the gas from around our new home, it was perfect. We used the Life creation kit, and used a giant tractor beam to bring a small star close by to heat our planet. We planted trees, we made our homes, and soon there was air. A miracle. We have been fine here, happier than Earth. we have found new life in the form of a small cactus-like plant that bears a fruit like no other. it is perfectly harmless. but now, an unknown catastrophe on Earth has forced them to abandon us. We have survived for a good thousand years at least, but now things are going wrong. People randomly vanish in the streets at night. Then a week later they reappear, acting strange and awkward. We fear there is another life form we have missed..." President of Uranus's log, entry 0015. 5/12/22

 

That was 300 years ago, and no one has ever seen that recording. Now, after Earth abandoned Uranus to see what would happen, they have sent scientists in. They are not alone. There are a small amount of survivors fighting for life on this world, and they are still tormented by they're unseen foe. They have no weapons, and little food. There are shambling creatures that roam the world that resemble people, but have become covered in a black plant like stuff some seem friendly, and some attack on sight. They are doomed if the Earth scientists don't bring them back. If they live long enough...

Remember, this is 300 YEARS after the collaspe of a society, there are little to no guns, no martial art skills, or marksmen training beyond slingshots and other hand crafted weapons. There is a mixture of cultural stuff on Uranus still, so names from other cultures, or nicknames. Religion of other culture, or even practices, like chopsticks. On another note, there are still 12 months, they are just longer

personality: His original parents lost to the thing, without leaving him so much as a name, he was adopted by a family that still carried some Japanese traditions. Though they didn't know any martial arts, they did teach him to fight. He shows respect to those who deserve it, and scorns the wicked.

Appearence: His hands are surprisingly soft after all he does for the colony. His eyes seem to change color from green to blue randomly. He has long arms and legs, and can run surprisingly fast.
