Schmuxy
Ok, this is my first mod request, so I'm not really sure how this works. Please be gentle. Basically, my request is some way of getting Camilla Valerius to come with me to retrieve the Golden Claw. Assuming I can already make her a follower with Amazing Follower Tweaks or something (I remember trying, and she still just wandered back to the shop). Errornamenotfound
OK first of all, WHY would you want Camilla to follow you? You have some sort of grudge against her? She's likely to die by bandits!Anyway have you tried using console commands? Assuming you're already familiar with the console, set her to ally and add her to potential follower faction. And while you're at it, make her essential too.Unfamiliar with the console? Go to the wiki page here.
Schmuxy
Immersion really, it always bothered me that Camilla didn't get to go on her adventure. Obviously I wouldn't let her die. I'll try the console, and report back.
Errornamenotfound
Trust me, if she did go on her adventure, you'd likely be killed by her brother.
Schmuxy
Trust me, if she did go on her adventure, you'd likely be killed by her brother. You know, I highly doubt that. He's not that psychotic. Besides, I'm the goddamn dragonborn. Anyway, console commands don't work. I have however discovered a way to get her to follow me - constantly commander to walk to places. Not great, but it's something. I have, however, been thinking - is it possible to modify an existing quest using the creation kit?
Errornamenotfound
Dragonborn? HAH! Before Dragon Rising, you're merely an escaped convict wearing looted clothes. Chances are, the whole of Riverwood will gang up on you and kill you, and your dragonborn soul will be absorbed by Alduin in Sovngarde. To answer your question, yes the CK can modify quests, and no I don't know how.
TheGreenLion
You wouldn't need to change her quests, but you would need to modify her in the CK so that she'll have the option to be a follower. You'd have to be careful not to ask her to follow until she escorts you to the bridge and starts heading back to her brother. Problems might occur with doing that, as she's rather well tied in to a lot of stuff it looks like. Another NPC like that is that girl in Rorikstead (I think) who dreams of adventure and wants to go with you but can't be recruited as a follower either. Well, I'm using Amazing Follower Tweaks which can make any NPC a follower. I actually asked this question on the AFT thread around 6 months ago (just before I stopped playing skyrim, only back now), and he mentioned that this was because The Golden Claw had a higher quest priority than AFT. I only realise now that I might be able to change the quest's priority so she will follow me instead of returning. I will also try your idea of asking her to follow me after she starts heading back. EDIT: Update, I have successfully created a mod that decreases The Golden Claw's quest priority. My first mod. And, I've tested it out, and Camilla comes along with me just fine. Success! Chances are, the whole of Riverwood will gang up on you and kill you. A little extreme don't you think?
