Final Fantasy 4 style Dark Knight Equipment

I haven't looked into the enchantment much yet, as I've been busy with the modeling. It'd be a nice thing to learn anyway, so I'll be looking into it later on. That said, I think I've narrowed down how to add the burning effect to the sword, so I'm looking forward to playing around with that.

Speaking of... I fixed the bone issue, toned those straps down to a dull grey, and finished cleaning up the textures on the armor. I also did... something else... but I'll let the pics speak for themselves.

Nice...!

Sorry, but more nitpicking (WILL IT NEVER END?!?!) I don't if it's the lighting or the angle or what, but the eyepieces look too big again and also like they're kind of jutting outward a bit instead flat and I think the eyepieces are supposed to be sunken into the helmet a bit, and the sword doesn't look as dark as I'd hoped.

It's coming along VERY nicely though. See you when I see you.

When you get back, I've also changed my first post a bit. I realized that since I intend for the enchantment I mentioned to work together with the Dark Knight equipment having the Dark Knight equipment have the statistics of Daedric equipment would quickly make it way overpowered, so I decided that if the enchantment does manage to get made it would be better for it to start out as the equivalent of iron equipment and to limit it's upgrading to flawless so the alchemy smithing boosting trick wouldn't work on it. I also decided that it would be a better idea if the equipment could be made right away, maybe the reward for an early questline, maybe not, and then with the enchantment I mentioned gradually got stronger as the player plays the game if they do dark actions at a rate that would prevent the need for switching to other types of equipment and eventually becoming the strongest piece of equipment in the game. The enchantments would have to be balanced so that it neither becomes too powerful too quickly or doesn't become powerful too slowly, but truth be told I don't know enough about the game to really know just what that should be.

To sum it up, the idea is to have a set of equipment that players that tend to do dark though not necessarily evil actions (stealing, killing, cannibalisim, etc) could get right at the start, maybe after some sort of questline at the most, and would improve just through natural play and thus become the only piece of equipment they'd ever need.

The legs look kind of thin, especially around the knees, but everything else looks really good.

Slightly thin, I agree, though that might be because of the skeleton the armor is encompassing rather than the armor itself. Personally I don't mind the legs like that.

Ahh, nothing like a little beach getaway to recharge!

No new screenshots, but I made a few tweaks last night. Eyes are about as flat as I can get them now without them actually being convex. I darkened the overall texture of the sword, but part of that issue is that it's still using the cubemap/environment map from the glass sword. When I get a chance to make new unique ones for it that'll help a lot. I also added a darkened/modified version of the Bound Sword effect. Still some tweaking to be done on that so I won't show it quite yet.

Oh, and as for the legs:

Keep in mind this is the size_0 model, (minimum on the weight slider), so the character inside is basically a beanpole. When I do the conversion for size_1 (the maximum) it'll make a lot more sense.

Speaking of: I'm basing this on the vanilla male body. For females, I have CBBE installed on my system, so I can do both vanilla and CBBE if people are interested. I've never played around with UNP, but it probably wouldn't be too difficult to convert it that direction as well. Thoughts?

If I knew what any of that meant I might have some thoughts.

EDIT: BTW, Convex is curving outward, so "eyes are about as flat as I can get them now without them actually being concave" would make more sense.
