GingerArcher
Speaking of: I'm basing this on the vanilla male body. For females, I have CBBE installed on my system, so I can do both vanilla and CBBE if people are interested. I've never played around with UNP, but it probably wouldn't be too difficult to convert it that direction as well. Thoughts? If I knew what any of that meant I might have some thoughts. EDIT: BTW, Convex is curving outward, so "eyes are about as flat as I can get them now without them actually being concave" would make more sense. Oops, my bad. You obviously knew what I meant though. CBBE and UNP are body 'replacements' for females to make them look more realistic/nicer/sexier/etc. Due to differences in them, outfits that are made for one will usually not work (properly) with the other, and vice versa. I've just taken a look at them both, and I like the more realistic proportions of both, but I'd say CBBE is better due to being less glamorized and more customizable. It doesn't yet have an Argonian version though. Edited March 4, 2014 by immortalfrieza

I'll go ahead and do both a vanilla and CBBE version for now, and maybe add a UNP patch later if there's a demand for it. Realized I went to bed last night without posting any update. :ermm: I've got the shield mostly done now, (just need to finish modeling the little details on the front), and I've started the conversion for larger males. I think we're on the home stretch!

GingerArcher
Ok, stopping time for tonight. My bed calls my name. Didn't get as much done as I'd hoped tonight, as the shield decided to argue with me for a while about it's size. Finally got it to see my point of view though. In the screenshots below: The first one shows the sword effect as it was yesterday, and the last one shows it as it is now with some color tweaks. Let me know which you think looks better. Oh yea, and the shield too of course. http://i.imgur.com/RQwyDGi.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/qAytUrC.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/YklszFB.jpg

It doesn't really look like a flame or a very solid one for that matter in either picture, though the first one is closer. The sword also doesn't look like it's engulfed in flames, as in coming from the center of the sword, more like alongside it. To give you an example of what I mean, it should be more like this:http://digital-art-gallery.com/oid/71/640x893_12770_Lady_Knight_2d_fantasy_sword_lady_knight_fire_flame_picture_image_digital_art.jpgAs in this picture shows the flames appear as if they to come from the sword itself, while the flames are substantial enough that the effect is noticeable yet don't cover up the blade. They also don't flame out to far away from the blade itself. Also, for the color I'd go for a dark purple, with maybe a little black and dark red flickering in here and there if that's possible to do, kinda like how darkness looks in the kingdom hearts games like here:http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m8f1noMQ7w1qlesrc.gif(Sorry it was a gif, I couldn't find a better example than that.) When I think "Dark Power" that kind of thing is pretty much what comes to mind. Everything else looks damned brilliant though. The shield is almost perfect, it's just missing one little thing, the skull doesn't look quite right. It lacks teeth and it's supposed to be the a different color, in fact I think that's true for the designs and outer parts of the shield too. BTW Did you see my earlier post about the stats? Yup, I did. The stats are all easily changed within the CK, so that's no prob at all. I also tinkered a little with enchantments last night, and I think it'll be fairly simple to get them working like you wanted. The skull is actually a draugr head I cut off and attached to the front of the shield. I'll go back and add teeth tonight, and see if I can get the texture a little closer to the reference pic. As for the sword effect: Pictures don't really show it, unfortunately. The effect I attached is the Bound Sword effect, which is kind of like flames burning along the leading edge of the blade. I can move it around to get it centered on the blade better, though that might change how it looks on the front edge. I'll keep playin with it. That .gif helps give me something to shoot for.
Thuellai
Lookin' good! I'm really excited to play around with this, especially once it's fully weighted. CBBE sounds great since that's what I use for females as well.

CBBE sounds great since that's what I use for females as well.Sounds like a plan. So I tweaked the fx on the sword a bit. Centered the dark purple flames, and tried to mix it with a duplicated one in black... the black one didn't work, unfortunately. I think I need to play with the alpha a bit in order to make a black flame show up. Again, pics don't really show the effect well, but it now looks like a purple flame dancing along the entire blade. Not perfect, but it's getting there. http://i.imgur.com/ZFWynNa.jpg I also changed up the texture on the shield, and added some small lines on the skull to simulate teeth. I still think the border/details are a bit too bright though, so I'll probably tone it down even more. The conversion to the larger male size is almost finished. (Just need to up-size the boots & gauntlets) I noticed when testing it in-game though, there's a really weird glitch going on. I wonder if any other modders have dealt with it before or could give a tip to fix it. I equipped the armor on a size 0 character, then pulled up the racemenu to play with the weight slider. The majority of the suit scales properly as you adjust the weight, but the bicep armor and pauldrons only appear properly at either size 0 or 1. In between, they're... well... scrambled, for lack of a better term. Really strange to watch them go from perfectly shaped, to a convoluted mess as the slider goes up, and eventually back to perfect at the larger size. :ermm: And again, it's only those parts. The rest of the armor scales correctly. Anybody got any ideas? Oh, and I also added the ground models, so the parts show up properly in inventory and on the ground now. If I can figure out that glitch, then the female/beast conversions is pretty much all that's left in terms of modelling. Movin right along!
