Texture for Power Armor

Hey all.....Anyone know of a texturing tutorial or anything like that??? I just want to add some color to the Army Power Armor and am not familiar with texturing... Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks!

Well, first off you need a photo/coloring tool like Gimp or Photoshop.

You also need a .dds plugin for gimp so you can tamper with .dds texture files.

To obtain .dds files and .nif files (For Meshes) you need a BSA unpacker, Fallout Mod Manager has one.

If you are very new to making textures, take some online gimp tutorials, learn how to mask or select regions which are very important in texture work so you don't cover something that shouldn't be touched.
