lilgamefreek
I'm playing around with making a grenade launcher that shoots out homemade grenades. Currently, it's shooting out tin cans. The problem is, the cans are spawned in an upright position as if they are standing on a counter. I want them to spawn lying down. Now, I'm thinking I could modify the model so that it's default orientation is lying down, but I have VERY little experience with modeling (i can't even open the extracted meshes. I keep getting errors). So is there any way of modifying the orientation a projectile is spawned?
TheChan
Open the tincan01.nif with NifSkope. Right-click on the part labeled 0 BSFadeNode, go to transform, and click edit. From there you can rotate it. It might take you more than one try to get it in the right direction. I also suggest you 'save as' tincan03.nif or something. lilgamefreek
Oh, I had made a reply to say I'd all ready made a new model, but it seems like it was cleared along with half of the forum last night. So yeah, it's working fine now.
