LE Academy of Bards Overhaul

Hi all !

 

After several hundred hours of playing skyrim, I finally came across the academy of bards in Solitude, a place I always loved to destroy with the Stormcloaks. Now I've made a new character sided with the Empire, I've decided to settle in the capital and get more in touch with the city.

 

How disappointed I was with the academy of bards ! All I've done was retrieving a poem and some instruments...Wait ! Being a bard is playing music and singing no ? So why do I have to be an errand boy ? Being a musician IRL, it's quite frustrating.

 

I wish I could walk in a tavern, talk to the innkeeper, then propose him/her to perform a song or two in exchange for some money...And of course, why not have a totally new perk tree exclusively for bards, with a trainer inside the academy ? It would be awesome to level up inside the bard tree park by performing new songs in inns. It would also be great to be able to buy/loot instruments.

 

Unfortunatly I have no skills at modding, so maybe you can tell me if this idea is feasible. And if so, why not give it a try ? I think it would be a great enhancement to the skyrim experience.
