I've had New Vegas, for a while, probably since it came out. However, I have never really gotten mods to work. It's been a long and tedious process, but it still isn't working out. This, as of right now, is my load order. Yes, it's long, but I can't get them all to work. Problem is that after a couple minutes of playing all the textures go wonky and the red diamonds with white exclamation marks start showing up. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, or what mods are doing this. I have an ENB (next generation) but I don't think that's exactly causing this. Could it be lighting mods? I'm at wits end, I just want to get these things to work and I never am able to.

So the basic issues are the inevitable texture freak out that happens after a couple minutes of play, I'm guessing a texture from some mod is screwing it up, don't know how. Could be a body replacer, though I'm not so sure. If that's thte case I could just disable some things, but I'm not sure it would work.

whoa that is alot of weapons and I see a bunch of them are in Millenias pack, if you get rid of all of the single weapons and use the pack you will save some room .. alot actually

 

then use fnv plugin utility to merge all of ADAM into one & WMX into one

 

Try NVEC it has a few of the weapons on the list too SVT40, Nagant, Makarov.... sh**... and I thought I was a gun nut (well I am but I'm an organized gut nut)

 

anyway try that,

 

My mod cut off is at 120 for me since I'm using Ultimate... but I have 3 times the amount of weapons that you have >> Millenias Pack. Vegas Ordnance (total retex of vanillas), AG Uniques plus a few others that you also have.

 

textures begin getting wonky for me at around 83-85 plugins --- so I merge what I can and purge unneeded.

 

FNV Edit helps also

I have FNVedit, but I don't see where the issues are, or I'm just not looking where I should. I haven't heard of FNV plugin though, what does it do? Also, is WME better than WMX? I only used WMX since I couldn't get WME to work.

Did you get any error messages when you ran FNVedit? and make a merge patch?

 

Did you get Millenias pack like I suggested & remove all of the single esps?

 

It would be a matter of preference with WME and WMX since they both do the same thing more or less

FNV Plugin is a VERY IMPORTANT tool that will help you make a super esp (trick is to choose wisely and save in between) won't hurt to experiment

I didn't get Millenia's pack, and I'm not quite sure how to do a merge patch. Also, I don't understand the installation instructions that came with FNV plugin, they sound like I should make a shortcut, but when I make one it just opens up the jar file and no plugins.
