lilgamefreek
Vault 87 is inaccessible due to high amounts of radiation. The only way for the lone wanderer is to go through little lamplight. How do super mutants get live captives they use to make more supermutants into the vaults for FEV exposure?
Rixirite
I agree, they should have made it like morrowind where if you kill someone important, it will tell you that you need to restore a saved game cause the character is essential to a chain of events of importance. Little lamplight is a mystery for sure, as if the story writers forgot to add some backup to where the children come from, cause Little lamplight would eventually be empty. lilgamefreek
To be fair sturryz, Vault City was built successfully BECAUSE of the Geck. They used it's abilities to terraform the area and grow vegetation. Hell, the whole point of FO2 was finding a geck to save your village from starvation, so it isn't exactly a minor piece of equipment in any scenario. "The GECKs are a miracle; if only that they should work at all." The G.E.C.K is basically a fertilization toolkit, without the hindsight of what DA FUTURE would be like (Super Mutants, Deathclaws and The Enclave. OH MY!) The problem is that most of the seeds and fertilization things in the G.E.C.K. are ancient and dated. I will admit that Vault City was rather dependent on it, but only because they basically broke it down for parts. The idea its a thing of miracle is silly and the quest to retrieve it a rather pointless quest. All to lead up to the battle with the enclave. (in both games, really) HOW DA FRAK DOES IT CLEAN WATER?! You bring up some good points though.
Nyx2k
Why is the electricity in every building still working? Shouldnt the electromagnetic pulse of the bombs have fried all the circuts? And how come the terminals in some ruins still run? Dont tell me they have been turned on since 200 years? No power loss once in a while?
kgb5097
would you really want to drink 200 year ole Coke? I was thinking that when I came across some vintage '96 bottles of Coke at a flea market a couple days ago... for a dollar I figured I'd see what some genuine warm, old & flat 'Nuka' tasted like... Stupid Fallout influencing what I do IRL :P Truth be told, it wasn't that bad. This is coming from someone who makes hardtack because he likes it though, so not everyone would agree I'm sure... Jenz
How can the Lone wanderer swim? There is no pool, not even a bathtub to train in in vault 101. But magicly he/she knows how to swim perfectly.

Nyx2k
How did the mysterious stranger apear in the battle simulation of operation anchorage? Or in MZ, Kinda funny how the LW referrs to him at the beginning. I was like wtf? when I read that. another thing, why does the wasteland still looks deserted? Aside from oasis, everything is still a desert. cmon, even in reality plants grow in a area where a nuke detonated. Japan for example.
