So many versions of the mods

I was asking how to get new face party and (races would be nice but not needed) with out changing the bodies from vanilla oblivion at all, if thats possible. how to get nicoroshi creations to work and if i got the right patch thing for the midas magic version i got. I also needed to know if i should bother getting the OBMM manual because nothing ive read said specifically what it does. OBMM comes with directions already....so i wasnt sure

race mods for the most part will give you the vanilla body unless you've changed to a body mod.

if you DL'd midas magic,I have it also you compare the patch number to the version you dl'd

If you have the self installed version of OBMM then thats all you need.

 

As far as nicoroshi creations, whats the problem your having?

Well i had details about all those a few posts up...its on the first page of this topic. I gave details about there only being exclamation points where the quest locations should be. Like i said, if you look back a few posts, i gave all the info on every question i had.

there are a few reaons there are multiple mods for the same thing

a. a new modder needing practiseb. one of the mods doesnt work with some mods and a new version without bugs is around

 

there are other reasons too, but im lazy

Hey, I don't use the OMOD aspect of OBMM, It's not required.

 

Unless you're a demanding/advanced user, getting your feet wet to the whole format is paramount, first and foremost.

 

Learning about manual install process = invaluable

 

My suggestion: Try to remain patient, don't add anything your not sure of, do trial and error w. saves/backups.

Incremental progress, is the name of the game, in my humble opinion.
