Hi there! I have a "little" problem with creating a Bashed Patch... Here is short list of my mods, that touch a leveled list:

  • Weapons & Armor Fixes_Remade.esp
  • Clothing & Clutter Fixes.esp
  • Cloaks.esp
  • Cloaks - Dawnguard.esp
  • Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp
  • Immersive Weapons.esp

But BOSS didnt show Cloaks.esp or Cloaks - Dawnguard.esp as RELEV / DELEV marked and Bashed Patch didnt include Cloaks.esp and Cloaks - Dawnguard.esp in "itself". Do i need to mark Cloaks of Skyrim esp files as RELEV / DELEV in Wrye Bash? Cuz i am afraid that otherwise it will affect the game.

'Cloaks of Skyrim' plugins do not need those Bash Tags. Cloaks - DG does not add or remove anything to default game leveled lists. If there are no entries for Cloaks plugins in the Bashed Patch, it means there was no conflict and no need to merge leveled lists involving 'Cloaks...' plugins.

So that plugins aren't conflict with Cloaks of Skyrim?

I don't understand the question...

I mean Cloaks of Skyrim compatible with Immersive Weapons, Immersive Armors, Weapons & Armor Fixes Remade, Clothing & Clutter Fixes and there is no need to mark Cloaks of Skyrim as RELEV / DELEV?

I myself mark any plugin which adds stuff to NPC with the "relev". Honestly i have no idea if it might make my game crash or if it will help, but i noticed that generic npc's and added by mod NPC's have a much bigger variation of used armours/cloaks/weapons and so on.

I also Mark a few NPC adding mods with "relev" as i've no idea if they touch lvl list or not.. But if that command is harmless to the game, then why not ?

Right...the short answers is 'do nothing, just build a Bashed Patch.'

Relev means the mod edits a certain value in the leveled list and need to 'override' any conflicting edits to that value. Delev means the mod removes an item from the leveled list. Unless the mod does one or both of those things, they should not bear those tags. I don't recommend that you arbitrarily add those tags to the mods, as that could cause some things to be removed from the leveled lists or certain values to take precedence even when it is not intended by the authors. If you have both BOSS and Wrye Bash installed, Wrye Bash will automatically tagged your plugins according to BOSS recommendations. Generally speaking, you should not add or remove bash tags yourself, unless it's for your own mod or you are trying to change how a mod's leveled list work for your own preference.

alright, thank you for the explanation, but is it possible that the adding of such a tag could influence CTD frequency? As in more CTD's just because of faulty tagging or does it not have any impact other than the unwanted (perhaps) changes to the lvl lists?

Generally speaking, that would be highly unlikely, but it depends on what sort of leveled list edits are contained in the mod. Leveled lists are used mostly to distribute items and, as you noted, for dynamic actor spawns. In most cases, you would likely just experience weird things, like finding 10 swords on a bandits (or alternatively, no weapons at all). But since leveled lists can also be used for a number of other things, and some mods can use leveled lists in very 'creative' ways, I would not entirely rule out game instability as a possible symptom (leveled lists referencing deleted or error records, for example, can cause CTDs).
