amokrun Posted February 24, 2014 Share Posted February 24, 2014 So I've tried everything in regards to overcoming the mouse acceleration curse of this game. I copied those four lines into the fallout.default file, and did the same in the two files in the My Games directory. I even found one in the SteamData directory and did it there. I disabled vsync, both manually and through the launch menu. I tried setting the files to read-only and not read-only. And still, I get brutal lag in the barter, container, recipe, and pip boy menus, in addition to gameplay. It has gotten to the point where I dread talking to a merchant or looting a container! The slow mouse comes and goes, but it seems to happen more and more. I really don't know what to do, I cannot stand playing like this. Has anybody had difficulty like this? I would LOVE to fix this... Simply don't understand why the producers of this game would implement such a frustrating feature... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
