Oubliette Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Where did you install your skyrim? It's generally advised not to install moddable games to their default locations (Program Files) on any machine with a Vista OS or later. If your game installed to Program Files or Program Files (86x) you'll need to move your Skyrim (and probably your entire steam install to be safe) to a different location. Most people choose to create a Games folder instead and install there.
dnahacker13 Posted February 24, 2014 Author Posted February 24, 2014 to the defualt location given to me by steam and prior to windows 8.1 its worked just fine
