flaggpuss
I've completely turned DEP off and it's still acting up, it's really installed outside of programs file along with fallout 3 due to the crashes and hang ups fallout was having. If it's because of that then I don't know what else I can do but install an separate copy of fallout that's in program files so I can use the geck and I don't know how to really install another without deleting the present fallout i'm using. :(

flaggpuss
I will install 1.7 asap, I clean the computer with CCleaner pretty often will do so again and I will defragment the hard drive ( vista's defrag doesn't show whats fragmented and whats not like xp did ). I've installed / Unistalled and reinstalled Geck so many times and even after uninstalling it ran the registry cleaner and it still didn't work but hopefully defragging and installing 1.7 will help.
