Real Plate Carriers (AKA rear military vests)

This game needs some real military vests and Plate carriers. The ones modded in now are not real and do not have accurate proportions or pouches.

I would suggest making multiple colors of each vest ex: Black, Coyote brown (in the IBA picture) OD (Olive Drab), Multicam, and ACU.

The standard issue U.S. vest is the IBA (Interceptor Body Armor). The vest itself is not bullet proof, the SAPI (small arms protective inserts) plates that go IN the vest stop the bullets.

USASOC, (Unite States of America Special Operations Command) can choose their vests if they so choose. One of the more popular ones is the Eagle Industries CIRAS (Combat Integrated Releasable Armor System) (the pouches on there do not come with the vest, but I suggest you model those onto the vest anyway).

Another popular plate carrier is the Eagle Plate Carrier (sometimes abbreviated as EPC). I Personally love the EPC and I own one.

You would also want to model camo under the vest such as Coyote brown's vest camo should be Marpat (as you see it goes well together), the OD vest camo underneath should be something such as woodland, Black should have black BDUS underneath , ACU should have ACU underneath , and Multicam should have multicam underneath.

I already saw that one, the Mag pouches are WAY to big, the MOLLE is too big, and the shoulder straps are too small. IMO I could not recognize it for being a CIRAS because it does not have the releasable tabs that make it so great.

I am sure some geardos such as myself are out there want some real gear. I am surprised that this hasn't gotten a lot of replies.

I once tried to remove the branch of the vest's pouch in order to slim it down, but to my dismay the ammo pouches were not a separate branch, and thus not deletable.

 

EDIT: This was for SpyRodz FFW mod, which used the CIRAS vest. It did not have deletable pouches in nifskope.
