TheGodAngelo
What's up NexusLanders? I've googled this level 21 freeze problem in broken steel and gotten ALOT of results but no answer!i tried everything! so far counted out the letters in my sarchivelist (215)Turned off some mods (Fook, MMM) I even turned off the unofficial patch and fake patch and updated to 1.7 (fixed my mouse lag :D)I've got OA and ThePitt and they went off without a hitch.I thought it might be the Ultimate Perk Perk, but from what I've read even vanilla BS gets this problem =( Anyone have any idea? VerbalEarthworm
when i have had level-up freeze in the past, i have always had to go back to an old save (pre-20 or pre-30) and use certain mods as a workaround. i heartily recommend downloading and installing Level Cap Workaround; http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=121 there is a list of links on that mods Description page that will allow other possibilties for level and skill usage. by the way, if you are frozen on the level-up menu, just open the console and type "cam" to CloseAllMenus. at least then you don't have to ctrl-alt-del your way out. TheGodAngelo
Well, it sort of worked, now the level system keeps coming up all the way to 31 until it freezes agian. setGS iMaxCharacterLevel 31 removes the freeze but the level system just keeps coming, i got all the way to 40 before i gave up :P
