One more DLC, one more!

they need to do a DLC like in the size of shivering isles that would be great.

Not that FO3 isnt a step in the right direction. 5 dlcs and none of them a 2mb dog armor or something! Dont get me wrong, but Beth has a history of releasing tiny "addons" (lets not forget the fact that all dlcs for tes4 were adding little content except SI and KotN) And although TES3 had 2 big addons (and both had fantastic stories!) the first released mods were tiny tiny additions aswell.

So I think FO3 is a step in the right direction. 5 dlcs and all of them rather big storylines. I still woul love to see at least one "real" addon, like SI or Bloodmoon were, although some of FO3 dlcs already added quite a lot imho. And the FO3 setting would allow for somany great ideas. One more dlc? How about 5 and when is the World of Wasteland Mod coming out that will allow online playing because I could very well play this game forever!!!

See I am aimed at a more "polished" mod that has voiced dialogue, decent writing, along with the lore friendliness. To me, M4 carbines doesn't fit the lore, because most of the M4 carbine mods are all clean, shiny, unscathed pieces of weaponry. Plus Fallout doesn't follow modern styles, it seems to be retro-futurist which makes thing a lot different. I do have fun with modern gun mods, etc but I would like a mod that focuses on keeping a lore-friendly enviroment as well as polished effort. Otherwise, I unsatisfied.

I would like to see Bethesda do just one more DLC period, and inside of it contains more effort than previous DLC's. That is.. The duration, the Dialogue, etc as well as adding dialogue and content to the capital wasteland like Broken Steel did.

Todd Said they're through with DLC's, so I would say, "If" he is not by any chance Lying :D, we might have a Full Expansion, but the DLCs already were big enough to tire any team out. so I'd say there's a 30% chance we might get a full EP, 2% chance another DLC, 10% chance of getting crashed to desktop and 58% chance of moddin'... guess which one happens...

I can't really blame Bethesda for calling it quits after Zeta. As Nosisab said, they have other projects which they need to devote their energies towards in order to maximize profits, they are a business first and foremost. TESV is most likely going to eclipse any of their previous endeavors, the demand for nothing less is so high from the fans. "Bigger, better faster!" and all that you know? Plus, Fallout: New Vegas.

I agree though that I would like to see F:NV released as a huge addon for Fallout 3 rather than a separate game, but I think the level cap situation makes that unlikely. Even with it increased to 30 by Broken Steel (does anybody else see the irony in the name of that DLC, considering it was released with their worst patch of all?), there just wouldn't be enough room for the growth level-wise of new or existing characters in what would essentially be a game twice the size of the original release (in areas to explore and content).

If they were to release a new DLC, realistically, I think it should be something like the Commonwealth and about the size Shivering Isles is. It would be good for the players and it would make Bethesda a few extra bucks to fund their ongoing projects, and since the resources already exist in the form of the original game and it's 5 addons, it would take a relatively minimum effort.
