Visible Combat Notification

I've been playing Oblivion for a while and I started to get sick of the stock game music. I changed the music library around some, but even then, I was starting to dislike the small amount of songs available. (I don't know if the music mods change the number of songs available, or if there even is a limit on the possible number of songs; I just assumed this.)

 

So I turned to my old standby for when I get tired of a game's music: I turn it off, and play my own in the background. However, in doing this I quickly realized one of the functions the music track provides: combat notification. I've been scanning the UI mods, and I've wanted something that gave me a visual notification (adding an icon in a corner, showing some text, whatever) when I was in combat. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything that touched upon this. I didn't look much in other categories, but I don't know what else it would be in.

 

Has this been done, and if not, how possible is this?

adds a message on the top left and icon on the top right when in combat, should be what you're looking for.
