amokrun
A mod to stop Victor from going hostile during the Goodsprings fight if you side with the Powder Gangers. It doesn't make sense that he attacks you when his sole purpose is to protect you. I'm sure Mr. House doesn't care about your moral standings, all he wants is the chip, and would never intend for one of his helpers to kill you. With a grenade launcher no less. devinpatterson
weird I can't find anything that would trigger him hostile for the GS ghosttown gunfight. He doesn't share any GS members within his factions in any of is incarnations, He's not listed in any GS factions, nothing in VFreeformGoodsprings or VMS16 (the ghost town fight) to turn him hostile that I can see. During the battle itself he *should* be MIA so he can't be accidentally tagged. Not sure what is going on there.
MarchUntoTorment
Possible that either the player or the Powder Gangers have accidentally damaged him with explosives during the fight? That happens to me all the time, and is why I basically don't use explosive weapons within a hundred feet of anything that's not already hostile. I had orginally thought that was a possibility too, but there is a little sub plot where if you recruit victor he "falls asleep" during the battle. When you question him later you have the option (science 25+) to examine him and find out that he was remotely shut down. I have no idea why House would want to do that, so I assume it's just that the developers don't want to make the ghost town gunfight too easy. But the upshot is he *shouldn't* be anywhere near the battle (if I read the notes on teh wiki correctly). But no worries, without any additional input from the OP, I'm just going to let this mystery go.
