Azeroterium
First of all thanks beforehand on helping me out. The problem is the next, I got to Skingrad for the first time in game, and when I enter Colovian traders everything is out of place; I even enter the room in the middle of a wall, I got stuck of course. The problem happens even in vanilla Oblivion, with nothing more than the patches, official and unofficial. Also when I open up the cell in the CS everything is out of place, NPCs in mid air or halfway through the floor, decoration outside of the store and the like. Is there anything than can fix it, in a painless way :whistling: , like a console command or a way to revert the cell? Also, would it be ok to ask for a small plugin that contains the unaltered shop?? This last because I have the feeling that some stuff is missing or lost as there's only two doors in the building counting the entrance and not enough lightning in the interior. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
bben46
As this is not a normal problem with vanilla, something changed it. Possibly a mod that you have removed left behind some textures or meshes. Try this, rename your data folder to oldata - this hides it from OblivionCOPY the parts of the game needed for vanilla with no mods, textures or meshes. Contents of a clean install \data folder Music (folder)Shaders (folder)Video (folder)Credits (text) Oblivion - Meshes.bsaOblivion - Misc.bsaOblivion - Sounds.bsaOblivion - Textures - Compressed.bsaOblivion - Voices1.bsaOblivion - voices2.bsaOblivion.esm OBMM and OBSE are OK as they don't add anything to the game. Now test it. If it works, it's probably something in textures or meshes left behind from one of the mods.If you convert your mods into OMOD format when you deactivate the OMOD it will remove everything, including any meshes and textures from the game. Azeroterium
Thank you Ben for your support; altough the problem happened after a fresh install, with nothing extra in the Data folder and only the saves restored, so my guessing is that it had something to do with the Oblivion folder under my documents a bad installation of the game or a bad installation of the unofficial patches, as I didn't install the citadel door fix from the UOP. Just as a note, the problem, after careful inspection, was that the building was changed, it wasn't the objects within the Colovian Traders, it was the building wich housed them!! Really odd, anyhow, I decided to do a complete fresh install of all my mods to prevent another problem in the near future; so far I got to the unofficial patches, with a new save, and the problem is no more. So thanks to all who took the trouble of trying to help this poor soul. :thanks: :thanks: May u have a happy hunting. P.S. I'll keep u posted if the problem arises again.
