Explosive Bullets

So I was messing around in the GECK, and had a great idea. I created a new projectile based on the Railway Spike, except I made it the spikes explode after a few seconds. After making a new weapon to use this wonder, I tested it out and it is amazing. So amazing that it makes me wonder what else can be done. I will definitely be making a modded weapon to upload to the Nexus, but first I want to ask: what do want in this weapon, and what do you think can be done? I've already experimented and made a Flak Cannon, to let you know.

 

But I also have a few questions for people who are more experienced. First, is it possible to make a projectile stick in living actors like it sticks in static objects and dead actors? If this is possible, then it makes this mod even greater. Also, is it possible to make an actor's torso get stuck to a wall, as with limbs and stuff, on death from a critical hit?

 

And for people reading this, would you rather have the spikes explode on a timer, like a grenade, or be proximity explosives, like mines? Should it set things on fire? Should the weapon have a scope? Should it be automatic (Even though that would make it ludicrously powerful)? Would someone be willing to make a mesh and/or textures? Cos right now the regular rifle looks like a vanilla sniper rifle, and the Flak Cannon looks like a minigun.
