Companions Not Following Properly

I was wondering if anyone could help...

I had Clover and SPC as my companions for quite a while but yesterday they have started to act funny as in they are not following me as they should normally.

If I fast travel sometimes SPC will appear but then not move from the spot. Clover doesn't seem to follow at all unless I go through a door, but then she does the same as SPC and just stands there.

I have been mucking about with the Groovatron mod recently getting them to dance and stuff but I have been mindful enough to reset them back afterwards.

They are not crippled ( I used the T.R.A.S.C.H mod to heal them of all wounds.) and if I fire them they return to their start points OK, but again if I go and hire them again they won't budge from the spot.

I have tried waiting and sleeping for a day or so to see if it will have an effect but it have not so far.

This seems to only effect them. If I hire Fawkes ,say, he will follow as normal.

Is there anyway to reset Companion NPCS? Kill them, resurrect them?

I have not seen anywhere of this glitch occuring, nor have I read of any glitchs that might occur from using the Groovatron.

Any ideas or suggestions would be most welcome.

I'm not sure what's going on, it might be a mod. Try opening up the console (~) and select you companion with the cursor, then type kill and press enter, than type resurrect and press enter, than exit the console. If that didn't work go back to the console, click on your companion and type disable, press enter and than enable. I haven't had this glitch, so I don't know how to fix this, but still, try this.

I tried this with Clover but after I had 'killed' her and then resurrected her she reverted back to being 'Eulogy's slave' as in she had no dialogue responses and would only tell me to basically get lost and talk to Eulogy, who has long gone in my game after I had killed him and his slavers up at Paradise Falls.

I tried the command line 'removefromallfactions' as I seemed to recollect that working for Flak after I had enslaved him and then rescued him from Paradise Falls in order to be able to talk and trade with him back at Rivet City but this did not work either.

The 'Disable'/'Enable' commands appeared to work as the command line came back with something like ' Clover Package Follow () but again she just stood where she had spawned and would not budge.

I'll see what, if anything, happens if I disable the Groovatron mod, because if it is a mod issue then it would have to have been this one as they were working perfectly normal until I 'grooved' them and got them doing silly dances and poses. It was sometime after that that they ceased to function correctly.

OK, I disabled the Groovatron in my FOMM and was able to get SPC to follow me once again (phew!) after using the kill>resurrect>disable>enable command lines.

Now is there a command line I can use for Clover so that she can be reverted to 'post' Eulogy control rather than ressurecting and acting like shes still Eulogys slave?

EDIT: Phew...again. I remembered the other command line I had to use on Red after enslaving her as well (removefromfaction 2f561) and that one did the trick with Clover after I had Killed and Resurrected her.

Thanks for your advice on that, I knew I'd probably have to go that route with some command lines but I wasn't 100% sure of the lines I needed to use.

:thanks: Thank you very much I have them both back and in good working order
