Ability to set resolution as command line parameter or use different i

Hi there.

 

I have a 22" desktop monitor (with resolution 1680x1050) and a LCD TV (with resolution 1920x1080) attached to my gaming rig, which runs with two ATI Radeon 4870's in Crossfire mode.

 

I'd like to spend some time on the couch playing Fallout 3, but I dont want to change the game's resolution any time I switch between monitor and TV. Is there any way to add a command line parameter to the shortcout of Fallout3.exe, which defines a custom resolution? Or maybe Fallout 3 is able to make use of two different ini files by adding a related command line parameter?

 

I spent much time on Google but couldn't find a solution. So any help from you guys will be very appreaciated.
