I've just gotten done placing a bunch of mods in my data folder, I have FOSE placed and my shortcut redirected, and I am using FOMM, but when I start up my game it crashes before it gets to the start screen. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. EDIT: OK, I've just tried FOMS to no avail. However, it keeps telling me that I have all the mods for certain patches but not the patches themselves, even though I have the latest version of all the mods and patch 1.7 installed. VerbalEarthworm Posted August 16, 2009 Share Posted August 16, 2009 if you are using an .esp without also using it's master file, you will CTD (crash to desktop). you are using the FOOK-Zeta.esp & Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch - Mothership Zeta.esp, yet i see no Zeta.esm in your load order. I see what you are saying, it's my fault for not clarifying though. I don't have any of the official DLC so anything that involves the DLC is left unchecked. Would deleting it from the list make a difference? Also, I've been playing around with it though and it seems like it only happens when I activate certain mods. FOOK, MMM, Fellout, and Drivable motorcycle (to name a few) crash the game upon startup, even if they themselves are the only mod active. Other mods work fine (e.g. Greenworld, the hair mod, Enclave commander, Free play after MQ, etc.). Really confused as to what the problem could be now.
