stebbinsd
If I mix a grass pod and red mountain flower together, I get a potion that restores magicka and ravages the drinker's maximum magicka permanently! Any benefit gained from the restored magicka is canceled out by the ravaged magicka. Strangely enough, however, I can sell that potion for even more gold than I could sell a potion made from a red mountain flower and any other ingredient besides grass pod, a potion that restores your magicka, but without ravaging your maximum magicka. This makes no sense. If the drinker of the potion has to have a Potion of Cure Poison on hand just to negate the ravage magica effects, shouldn't that detract from the overall value? After all, value in the real world is determined by an object's overall usefulness and ease of use. Can someone make a mod where negative effects of potions - and positive effects of poisons - will actually make your mixtures less valuable when selling them for profit?
