1st person hand models/textures

But it's THAT bad only with this armor, so do i really need to rework the animation, no other way to untwist my arm ?

Well your not really going to rework the animation and are unlikely to find anyone else that will do it for you. Instead you'd try various animation replacers to see if they had less distortion for that # grip.

 

However if it's *only* that model, it may be that blender parenting the skeleton to the mesh less than optimally. You can change the vertices that are assigned to that part (assuming they are assigned to a separate bone from the rest of the forearm) very quickly in blender and that *might* look better (or worse). However I can't tell you without looking at it, adn your havn't provided any info on the armor. A complicating factor is that I can't fix it and distribute it to you without the author of the mods permission.

It's Desert ranger combat armor and i haven't changed the model of the armor itself, only texture, so this "twist" is there by default in the vanilla game

Good since it's a vanilla model (HH right) I can mess around with it (no promises, but time permitting I'll try to look at it). Maybe I can put together a few models for you to try. The first person skeleton is a bit funky/different but maybe I can help.
