portbash Posted August 18, 2009 Share Posted August 18, 2009 Without further ado: While exporting custom mesh into nif format, some faces are not assigned to any body parts. Luckily Blender selects all of em after the failed export... but now, how do I assign em proper? EDIT: SolutionUser Kalten helped me with that issue. Here's a short summary of his feedback: Go to the Link and Materials section (editing mode) and assign the nasty vertices to the corresponding bone inside the Vertex Groups pulldown menu. I.e.: Vertices near the neck belong the the BP_TORSO, verts near the right toes to BP_RIGHTLEG and if you got some in multiple areas, just split em up and assign em separately. That's it. Why is it happening?Sometimes the BWC script can't figure out what area some verts are using and simply does nothing. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
