sk1ntm1k3 Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Alright, I have googled this to death. I looked all through tesnexus for it. A long time ago, there was this SWEET mod that let you have a Spider Daedra as a companion. It is gone now.If anybody has it, or if the original author is still around and could reupload it, I would be so greatful.I had a really good time playing with the Aranea companion. Does anybody remember this? Thanks for your attention, and thanks in advance for any effort you might put forth to find it.
sk1ntm1k3 Posted December 13, 2009 Author Posted December 13, 2009 I'm sorry to bump this up, but I still have not found said modification to Oblivion, and was hoping somebody could help me out by telling me what happened to it, if its available anywhere, or even if somebody has it and would like to share maybe. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
buddah Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 This sound familuar? Aranea v0.1=========== Aranea is a Spider Daedra companion I pieced together. Strangely, I couldn'tfind any decent Spider Daedra companions, so I used Boulder-Snapper's guts tocreate this thing. When starting the game, the player gets a lesser power to command Aranea. Thearachnid will do the following for you: - Appear at the player's position- Follow the player- Wait- Set home location- Go home- Access inventory She (assuming you're using a female Spider Daedra model) comes in two flavours:Strong and Vanilla. The vanilla variant has the same level as the player, and stats comparable tothe vanilla Oblivion version, with some stats scaled to the player's level. The strong plugin gives you a version of Aranea that is five levels above theplayer and is (obviously) rather powerful. Most stats are multiples of thevanilla Oblivion Spider Daedra stats. Installation============ You know the drill. Dump the ESPs in your Oblivion Data directory and enable oneof the plugins. Credits======= Brandon T for his Boulder-Snapper mod: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=13078 If so pm me your email and I will send it to you. It is no longer available for download anywhere that I can find. If it was hosted on this family of sites there is a 99.9% chance that I have a copy in my archives. Buddah Bumping is usually frowned upon,,,,,but with no response in 4 months, that is not what I would call a bump. It is a call for help. In this case you got some.
