Load Order Driving me Mad, MAD!

I'm saying that it's generating a list with mods I know I thoroughly uninstalled (at a point between then and now, I completely uninstalled the game, deleted all mods and folders remaining). On top of that, it's not registering new mods such as Deadly Spell Impacts and Wet and Cold - Holidays. I figured out the solution to that problem anyways, apparently I installed BOSS to a Read Only folder, which is why it wasn't functioning, I've attached the correct log.

Also, for whatever reason, I can't seem to paste into this forum. Been trying it on a bunch of other forums, but no idea why it isn't working here. For the time being, I've included the Boss log as an attachment.

I'll copy/paste the contents of the log for you so no one else has to download the file.

The following plugins were not found in the masterlist, and must be positioned manually, using your favourite mod manager or by using BOSS's user rules functionality. You can submit unrecognised plugins for addition to the masterlist directly from this log by clicking on a plugin and supplying a link and/or description of its contents in the panel that is displayed.

Like I said, if you uninstalled something, but it still shows up in the BOSS log, it means the mod was not completely uninstalled and (at least) the plugin is still part of your game installation. The BOSS log will not erroneously identify a plugin as present in your game data folder when it is not there, no matter how outdated your masterlist might be (at worst, it will only provide inaccurate information about the plugin). I may have missed it if you provided the information earlier, but aside from Steam Workshop mods, which mod manager are you using to un/install mods (NMM, MO, or Wrye Bash)? Incidentally, if you do not know already, unsubscribing a mod from the Workshop will not automatically uninstall the mod and its resources from your game (this might explain why some mods you thought were 'uninstalled' are still there). It just deactivates it and will not longer automatically update the mod (this is one of the many reasons I avoid downloading mods from the Workshop).

I am going to suggest a number of things to start stabilizing your load order, some of which may have no direct relevance to the issue you are currently experiencing, but which are integral components to maintaining a clean, organized, and stable load order, because 'why not.' Might as well do an 'overall maintenance' now that the car is in the shop.

1) uninstall the mods associated with plugins not recognized by BOSS ("The following plugins were not found in the masterlist..."). We'll go through them once your game is stable. For now, they add to the clutter and distract from the more serious issue of not being able to play the game.

2) Cleaning: download TES5Edit from the link in the BOSS log, follow the instruction on the same page, and clean the plugins flagged by BOSS as containing 'dirty edits', including the DLC and update esm's (yes, clean those too. No, it will not cause issues as long as cleaning is done correctly). You will need to a) remove identical to master entries as well as b) undelete/disable deleted references.

3) go through the BOSS log and look for error messages such as this:

waves.esp Active

o Contains dirty edits: 189 ITM, 0 UDR records. Needs TES5Edit cleaning. A cleaning guide is available here.

o Warning: Plugin has some corruption. A version fixed and cleaned with TES5Edit can be obtained here. (Fixed version)

This message indicates that the plugin for the version of the mod you are using is 'corrupted' and a fixed version of the plugin is available. Follow the link, use the search function to find the fixed version of the plugin, and install it so it will overwrite the 'corrupt' plugin.

After you do all of this, see if you can get past the Bethesda logo without CTD and try to start a new game.

[edit]

OK. Fixed with the new BOSS log. To copy/paste BOSS log information here, highlight all the relevant information, copy (ctrl-c), then paste (ctrl-v) here (inside a set of spoiler tags).

Ok, well, no big deal. Just do the cleaning of any plugins you see which still contain 'dirty edits', uninstall mod with the 'staticmeshimprovementmod' plugins (I don't know why BOSS recognize half the plugins from that mod but not the other half....no point worrying about it for now), keep 'Wet n' Cold - Holidays' (but you should check the mod description or user comment section for the mod to see if the author provided load order suggestion for the mod until the BOSS database is updated with information regarding the mod). Then after you have done all of that, including attending to any error messages in the BOSS log, copy/paste your brand new, post-cleaning BOSS log here into a set of spoiler tags so we can look it over again (and whether you were able to get past the Bethesda logo and start a new game).

I have followed the steps listed above in terms of cleaning, after cleaning, the mods (still including 3DNPC) would not run past the Bethesda logo. According to the current BOSS log, nothing remains to be cleaned, and there are no outstanding messages. I have attempted launch through all various methods of doing so at my disposal, and the situation is the same, it'll launch without 3DNPC, but not with it, with 3DNPC being in the place BOSS put it.

EDIT: Also, I know how to copy and paste text into a forum, but this particular forum is not allowing me to do so, I have no idea why. Keyboard, mouse, and forum commands to do so are simply not doing it even as I can freely cut and paste in any other particular forum I'm subscribed to. Once again, is attached my current, cleaner, BOSS Log

Hm...did you download the 3.04 base module or merely the latest 'weekly update'? How long did it take you to dowload the entire mod (this will indicate which one you downloaded)? It's possible your download may have been incomplete or corrupted some how, and you may have to download the whole thing again.

Well, I assume you installed the updates via a mod manager rather than manually, so try uninstalling the updates incrementally until you revert back to the 3.04 base (that's the version I am using). Although I'd think if one of the update plugins was 'corrupt', it would have been reported by now, you can never be sure.
