I am also running a similar new computer rig to yours but one problem (a Big one) :wallbash:

i do not have even 5 % of the computer literacy that u obviously do.

My question is ( and i most likely speak for many out there) :

Are you going to redo ur guide on how to us the DLC's with the use of mods or are all of us computer inepts doomed.

PLEASE! I beg of thee! Revise your guide on using DLC's and Mods with the 1.7.0.3 patch. I dont know how to follow it in it's current state.

I garantee that you will be showered with blessings from afar if you do!

Oh lord...

You know requests are at the bottom of the main fallout 3 forum list.

You could also PM this rather than have a semi spam lameo conversation with yourself in technicial support.

I'm glad you got a PC though it was the right choice.

3 years from now your mother board is going to fry it's self and you'll build a new computer

much more powerful all by yourself, for super cheap.

3 years after that you'll still be learning computer stuff.

1.7 is pretty much the same version as 1.6 an 1.5

So I don't see how making a custom how to install DLC's for 1.7 is applicable

But Then I don't use that fancy DLC crap, at least not yet.

For one it's flamed across the net as to the problems it may cause.

Even still pretty much each of the DLC's are content based in certain times of the game world.

Why bother loading it until you need it, there's not a whole lot of mods out there that require the DLC's

as .esm, an let's just agree that the few that do require them are not exactly must have mods

making it a mute point, when concidering dropping DLC's until you needed them just to get some

more stability in game.

That's just a alternative.

There's no playing fallout 3 modded with no desire to learn computer stuff.

It goes hand in hand, just getting the thing to run with mods is just the start.

As learning computer stuff also goes with being a PC gamer.

We don't just hit the power button an play, we get into the BIOS an tweek stuff,

get into the advanced configuration settings of games an tweek stuff, In game settings

launcher settings, Grapics driver settings, advanced install, it never ends.

I would say follow the guide, don't auto install stuff, do it the hard manual way, looking at everything

to see if it works, read the read me's, follow the tweek guide, never quick save, never auto save,

use FOMM FOSE FO3edit GECK, defrag drives, update software, ect.

Shoot master update that stuff with FO3edit, even though they say not to, there's no risk an it helps

This is all easy stuff, wait till your working on a mod an the mesh has a freaking hole in it.

What seems to be the problem, maybe we can help you out in noob talk until you learn more stuff?
