GECK - Static Environment Meshes

Quick question really, couldnt find a thread fitting to stick this in on its own so figured I'd drop it here.

My problem is thus; I'm trying to utilise half of a set for one of my maps, however the player falls straight through the floor. The Enclave Warroom pieces (ecvwarroom4-9) are what I'm trying to use, mainly the quarter shaped platform to create just one semi-circle platform, but there doesn't seem to be anything solid for the player to stand on.

Am I not doing something right?

Probably not the most clearesrt of explanations, but if anyone could help, that'd be grand thanks.

Not sure if this is the right answer, but is the static piece set as Collision Geometry? That might be all you have to change and of course make a new form ID for pieces you change so you don't mess with vanilla stuff. I'll go in and check out the pieces myself a little later and see what the deal is. Good luck.

Oh one more thing might want to ask these questions in a geck specific thread to get an answer faster. I use the one here at Nexus too but I find I get quicker replies over at G.E.C.K. - Fallout 3 Forum

cheers man, as soon as I'd dug around, I'd realised; yup, you're right. guess I'll have to learn how to set the mesh as geometry now.

It uses an invisible collision model from a raised part of the platform, which makes everything much clearer now.

Cheers bud, I'll bear that in mind :)
