wfandrews
When I upgraded to SKSE 0.1.7.0 the next time I went into a dungeon it was so dark I needed a torch to see. As I have Project Reality Climates of Tamriel; which I like very much; I believed it had something to do with this file. So I went into NMM clicked on Project Reality and read the info. on it which told me how to adjust the lighting by going into the enbseries.ini file and changing some of the parameters. My problem is I do not have a enbseries.ini file in my Steam\Steamapps\common\Skyrim folder. I uninstalled and reinstalled Project Reality but no luck. The only enb file I could find was in my Intel video card file and that was enblocal.ini. I feel it must have something to do with the mods I have or maybe it is my system; whatever I have no idea either how to find the problem or how to fix it if I did find it. I have literally looked in almost every file associated with Skyrim on my hard disc. Any help would be greatly appreciated'
Lord Garon
The enbseries.ini file is contained in both the "enbseries" binary file packages from Boris' site, and most ENB preset mods. If you haven't installed an "ENB", you probably won't have that file. CoT has an install option which creates darker dungeons. You might look in NMM and disable the ClimatesOfTamriel-Dungeons-Hardcore.esp or ClimatesOfTamriel-Dungeons-Hazardous.esp mods and see if your dungeon delving has more light. (I have the Dungeons-Hazardous.esp installed and it is pretty dark in caves and ruins.) Other than that, CoT was made to work with an ENB; it will be hard to "tweak" without one. (Well, its hard to tweak WITH an ENB installed.) The mod author has some recommended ENB's on the Nexus CoT mod page.
wfandrews
I had Project ENB by Boris316 but had not reinstalled that when I reinstalled C of T. I reinstalled that after I had posted and that seemed to do the trick. I still have no idea why when I upgraded SKSE it seemed to change my defaults for those files. Thank you for your input.
